Day 03Amsterdam, Dec 25Christmas in Amsterdam, then the night train.
A slow Christmas Day in the city. We collect our luggage and board the European Sleeper night train at about 10:30 PM, bound for Prague.
Day 04Prague, Dec 26Rolling into Prague.
Arrive in Prague around 10:55 AM. Old Town Square and its markets, then Charles Bridge at dusk.
Day 05Prague, Dec 27Castle, cathedral, beer hall.
Prague Castle and St. Vitus Cathedral, then dinner in a proper Czech beer hall.
Day 06Munich, Dec 28Scenic train to Munich.
A scenic train ride of about 5.5 hours to Munich, then a walk around Marienplatz.
Day 07Munich, Dec 29Fairy-tale castle, Bavarian beer hall.
A day trip to Neuschwanstein Castle or Nymphenburg Palace, then dinner at the Hofbräuhaus.
Day 08Salzburg, Dec 30Into the Alps.
