Questions?

Everything once you land in Leh. Stays in Leh, Nubra Valley, Pangong Tso & Hanle, a private SUV convoy for the whole Loop, all Inner Line Permits, the Hunder sand dunes & camel safari, a Turtuk village excursion, a night of camping & stargazing at Hanle's Dark Sky Reserve, hot springs at Chumathang, a Sham Valley & Magnetic Hill visit, 8 breakfasts plus meals on camping nights, travel insurance, and a WanderLOOPS host throughout. Flights or transport to & from Leh aren't included.
Yes — Nubra Valley, Pangong Tso, Hanle and Khardung La all require Inner Line Permits for Indian travelers. We handle the entire process before you arrive. Just carry a valid photo ID and a few passport-size photos.
Leh sits at over 11,000 ft, and we go higher from there. Days 1–2 are deliberately slow to let your body acclimatize — light walking, lots of water, no alcohol. Most people feel fine by Day 2. We carry basic medication and oxygen support on the road, and our hosts are trained to spot and manage symptoms early.
No technical fitness needed — this is a road trip, not a trek. The main demand is on your body adjusting to altitude, not your legs. If you can handle long drives and cold nights, you're set.
No. Most Loopers come solo. Long drives across passes and a night under the stars at Hanle's Dark Sky Reserve have a way of turning strangers into a tribe fast.
Layers, layers, layers. Daytime in August is mild, but nights at Pangong Tso and Hanle get cold even in summer. Bring a warm jacket, comfortable walking shoes, sunglasses, sunscreen, and a power bank. We send a full packing list once you're confirmed.
Network is patchy beyond Leh, and the Changthang stretch — Pangong to Hanle — has very limited or no signal at all. Think of it as a feature, not a bug: a day or two genuinely off the grid, surrounded by some of the most remote landscapes in India. Let your people know in advance.
We have a clear cancellation policy shared at booking. Some stays and permits are pre-booked — we'll always try to find a replacement Looper and work out a fair solution. Reach out directly.
